The Graphics Department always welcomes resumes and portfolio submissions from freelance designers and production artists. We also occasionally need extra help, especially during the busy seasons and on bigger movie projects. If you have relevant experience, or are simply curious about the in’s and out’s of graphic design in the entertainment industry, please feel free to contact us. When submitting work samples, please note we mainly evaluate skills and background in traditional print design. A strong sense of typography, familiarity with logo, publication and package design, are of particular interest to us.
When we do have openings for full-time staff positions, the details for applying will be listed below.

PROJECT MANAGER/GRAPHIC DESIGNER
This position includes: Working with prop masters and managing print projects from concept to completion, graphic design and client billing. Some art direction, copywriting, research and material purchasing is also required. A graphic design background, thorough knowledge of the Macintosh environment and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication are a must.
Candidates should submit a resume and a brief cover letter. Because we can get inundated with submissions, we ask that you email 4 jpeg samples of your best design PRINT work. If you only send us a link to your portfolio, it will likely delay how soon you will be considered. Samples that showcase skills in layout, traditional print publication, package design and typography are especially welcome. Email your submissions to Agnieshka Jane, Design Director, and put “Project Manager / Graphic Designer” in the subject line. No phone calls, please.
REQUIREMENTS: BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 2 years professional graphic design experience. 1 year experience in creative project management and several years in full-time professional positions are strong pluses. Experience in art departments within the film/tv industry, familiarity with silkscreening and vinyl sign printing skills are helpful, but not required. This position is ideal for anyone who wishes to apply their graphic design background to a unique and highly specialized field. While graphic design skills are required, it is important to consider that this is not exclusively a design position. Maintaining ongoing client relationships and project management comprise approximately 50% of the job. Because of the learning curve and long training process, candidates should posses a strong interest in committing to a full-time, office-environment job for a minimum of 2-3 years.
